Perfect Party

I had a revelation this weekend. One of my coolest, intelligent, generous female friends had a house warming/BBQ on Sunday. Detailing what made this the absolutely best party would take up too many pages of a blog. However, I can give you one take-away: the best parties are always a reflection of your best attributes. If you are a cranky, stingy person – not only will no one come to your party, but if someone does, it will still suck. Another very cool friend of mine throws these phenomenal Christmas parties. She said she likes people to feel abundant. And true to her intention, you are practically tripping over food, good wine and generous friends at her fetes.
