BK – Have it your way

I am a Manhattanite through and through. A proud island girl. However, I must admit that the crowds in Manhattan are getting unruly, now even south of 34th street. I can see the appeal of Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir. However, yesterday I had the most delicious of days with my dear friend: a certified Time Out Guru.

If you’d like to go shopping (window or otherwise) without the fear of being trampled. Check out Oak at 150 Ainslie Street. Williamsburg @ Lortimer Stop. The men and women’s stores are having 30% off sale. We spent hours chatting with salespeople (no hard sales), touching fabrics, comparing shades of denim. Gorgeous jewelry and furnishings at Brooklyn Flat next door.

We wrapped up with a super cheap, super yum brunch at Hope & Union.
